Information and Image Sources

Historical and Architectural information on lighthouses are obtained from several sources including, but not limited to, Wikipedia.com*, the actual lighthouse’s home page (if available), Lighthousefriends.com, travel sites, and Youtube.com.

Images are obtained from photos I have taken personally, Google searches where images are listed under “Free images” as in pixaby.com and pexels.com Pixaby is a vibrant community of creatives, sharing copyright-free images and videos. All contents are released under Creative Commons CC0. Pexels provides high quality and completely free stock photos licensed under the Pexels license. All photos are nicely tagged, searchable and also easy tofind through their discover pages.

To the best of my ability, I try to give Copyright images proper credit. I have made every effort to track down the origin of the images used on this site, but it is sometimes very difficult to credit the original owner as many websites use the same images and claim them as their own. If any of the images used on my blog infringes your copyright, please write to me and request credit for the specific image or request removal.
